Dolk

Dolk, meaning dagger in Norwegian, is the pseudonym of Norway’s most renowned graffiti and street artist. He has often been compared to Bristol-based street artist, Banksy, whom Dolk cites as a great influence in his stencil-based work. Examples of his intelligent and subversive images can be seen in his homeland in spaces such as, the main railway stations in Oslo and Trondheim, the Halden prison and the Norwegian School of Economics. He has adorned the walls of important cities across the world such as, London, Berlin, Barcelona, Copenhagen and Melbourne, and has been exhibiting in galleries and art festivals since 2006.
